Mission Statement and Purpose 宗旨和目的

Hello! My name is Brian and I am from the USA. It is my goal to create a community of both Chinese speakers who want to improve their English and English speakers who wish to improve their Chinese. I originally came up with the idea of *** this website after having many friends from China ask me to help them improve their English writing skills. The number of people who I was helping became too large to manage on QQ, so a website is more organized. What makes this website different than similar websites is that it was created in the USA and is made to be completely free. Also, as of now my knowledge of Chinese language is not very large; I can even admit that I have never actually taken an formal language class. All of my knowledge has come from self-teaching and my valuable friends. These friends have helped me make the website the way it is right now by guiding me to translate the menus into Chinese and for that, I offer my thanks. Because I am trying to learn Chinese, I plan on being a highly active member on this website.

So if you want to learn English or Chinese then I hope you will become a member here. Membership is more than just an account on this website; it is to become part of a multicultural family that will build a bridge between China and the USA.
